Max Littman, LCSW

Unconditional positive regard and unconditional curiosity creates an environment conducive to people recognizing they are inherently good and reasonable and that which has happened in their lives can often lead to harmful decision-making, unmanaged suffering, and an incongruence between their actions and their internal value systems.

Max Littman, LCSW

As an experienced social worker in crisis service settings, I’ve worked with highly diverse clients who have struggled with various problems including depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, relational issues, grief, sexual/gender identity issues, substance abuse, and trauma. In working with clients, my primary four practice principles are playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy.

Outside of my work as a LCSW, I renew myself through volunteer work socializing cats, staying active through nature walks and at the gym, and by watching various series/films on video streaming platforms.

I look forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and together utilizing your strengths and unique qualities to help you come closer to your desired quality of life. I received my Masters in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento and now practice as a LCSW. My Bachelors is in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
