I am a very interactive therapist who is empathic and supportive. I work to create and ensure a safe, confidential environment for each individual to overcome obstacles and lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. In treatment, I use variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, mindfulness and short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy.

I was born and raised on the East Coast. I graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a degree in psychology. I then graduated with honors from New York University where I obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. After graduating from New York University, I was awarded a two-year fellowship in child/adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy and play therapy which brought me out to the West Coast. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, clinics and private practice. I have extensive experience in working with teens and adults with depression and mood disorders, body image issues, learning disabilities, post-partum depression, fertility issues, anxiety disorders, ADHD, dating/relationship issues.
